The number of confirmed coronavirus infections is rising across the world, many countries including Malaysia have been affected.
Beyond the infections, the impact of a large-scale outbreak on children can be immense - through disruption to education and healthcare service, impact on caregivers, and separation from family members.
We need to URGENTLY SCALE UP our efforts across the East Asia Pacific region to reduce the transmission of the virus including by strengthening risk communication and tackling misinformation, so to mitigate the impact on children.
UNICEF is appealing for close to RM 7 billion (USD 1.6 billion) to provide critical health prevention supplies, public health education, as well as key healthcare, nutrition, education and child-protection support to the region.
DONATE TODAY. TOGETHER, WE CAN FIGHT THE VIRUS.
*Donations of RM50 and above are tax deductible.
